Free ATS Resume Templates — FAANG, MBA & Every Role
The exact five templates used inside the Resuma builder. Preview each one live, then build your version in 60 seconds. ATS-tested across Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse, and Lever.
Five templates, built for five career situations
Every template has been parsed through real ATS systems (Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse, Lever) to verify the structure survives. These are the same templates you get when you sign up — what you see here is what you build.
Classic
A Times New Roman, balanced traditional layout. The safest ATS-friendly resume template across every parser we have tested — Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse, Lever. Pick this when you are not sure which one to use.
- checkTimes New Roman serif body
- checkSingle column, standard sections
- checkParsed cleanly across every ATS
- checkDefault template for new users
ATS Pro
Teal section headings, single-row entries, filled-circle bullets. Built to fit more keywords and more work history in the same one-page footprint — useful when the job description has 30+ keywords and you need every one to land.
- checkTeal headings with double-rule separators
- checkSingle-row entry layout
- checkFilled-circle bullets ATS reads cleanly
- checkMaximum keyword density per inch
Modern
Cleaner hierarchy with stronger section emphasis and a contemporary blue accent. The right ATS resume template when the role is at a modern company that still uses an ATS but expects design taste.
- checkContemporary blue accent
- checkStronger section emphasis
- checkSans-serif Arial body
- checkATS-safe but design-forward
Executive
McKinsey-style one-pager. Sans-serif typography, generous whitespace, achievement-led bullets. The standard format used by MBA candidates, consulting applicants, and senior leadership roles where the reader is a partner, not an ATS keyword scanner.
- checkMcKinsey one-pager format
- checkGenerous whitespace, sans-serif
- checkAchievement-led structure
- checkMBA, consulting, senior leadership
FAANG Pro
The Jake-LaTeX engineering resume format — dense, single-column, technical. Widely used by candidates landing offers at FAANG and top tech companies. ATS-safe and recruiter-recognised at every major tech employer.
- checkJake-LaTeX engineering format
- checkDense single-column technical layout
- checkATS-safe, recruiter-recognised
- checkDefault for FAANG-targeting candidates
What makes a template ATS-friendly
Four structural rules every template here follows. Break any of them and a meaningful share of ATS parsers will mangle your resume.
Single column only
Two-column resumes confuse most ATS parsers. They either skip the second column or read it out of order. Every template here is single-column.
No text boxes, no tables
ATS parsers strip these. A resume that looks polished with text boxes often parses as a wall of unstructured text.
Standard ATS-safe fonts
Arial, Helvetica, Times New Roman, Georgia. Anything fancier risks rendering as broken characters when the ATS converts your PDF to text.
Real section headings
Plain text headings like Work Experience and Education — not custom labels like My Journey. The ATS looks for the standard ones.
